When this charming older woman moved to a rental unit, I faced an interesting challenge – how do I add warmth and a feeling of “home” to a space that lacks uniqueness and personality? As it was a rental, the project involved pure interior styling with no architectural changes. I used a combination of new furniture which supplied warmth and comfort together with decorative art pieces from her previous home which added style and connections with memories. The result transformed this rental to a new, yet charming and familiar home.
